Guitarist Calvin Chua has successfully wooed Malaysians with his epic plan to have 64 musicians play a metal version of the Merdeka classic, ‘Tanggal 31‘, which was originally sung by Allahyarham Sudirman.
Many Malaysians are going through a tough time. The pandemic is still ravaging the country. Despite all this, these musicians managed to get together and have this song recorded for Malaysia. Each musician recorded their part and was compiled and edited by Calvin.
His message to Malaysians, “Hopefully we will always be patriotic and live together in harmony.”
