Kuala Lumpur, 11 September 2024 – Vietjet is set to significantly enhance its flight network between Vietnam and Taiwan, as well as Vietnam and Hong Kong, beginning 27 October 2024. The airline will increase the frequency of flights and introduce exciting new promotions for travellers, making it easier and more affordable to plan autumn and year-end holidays.
Expansion of Vietnam-Taiwan Flights
Starting 27 October 2024, Vietjet will introduce new daily flights connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Taipei, doubling the frequency to two round-trip flights per day on both routes. Additionally, the airline will expand its services from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc to Taichung and Kaohsiung, offering daily operations on each route. As a result, Vietjet will operate a total of 81 round-trip flights per week across nine routes between Vietnam and Taiwan, up from the current 46 weekly flights.
More Frequent Vietnam-Hong Kong Services
Travellers from Vietnam to Hong Kong will also benefit from increased options. Vietjet is upgrading the Da Nang-Hong Kong route to daily operations, up from its current four weekly flights. Similarly, the Phu Quoc-Hong Kong service will now run daily. In total, the airline will operate 18 weekly flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong, compared to 11 previously.
These expansions further strengthen Vietjet’s international network, offering seamless connections not only across Vietnam but also throughout Southeast Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
