In a fervent call for unity, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim advocates a ‘mature politics’ paradigm that engages the combined strength of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN). According to him, this coalescence is indispensable for sustaining political stability in Malaysia, thus ensuring the welfare of its people.
Emphasizing the salience of these two parties, the PM acknowledges their critical role in securing success in the impending state elections. Anwar Ibrahim, in his capacity as the president of Keadilan, campaigns unequivocally for BN representative, Datuk Mohd Zaidy Abdul Kadir, underscoring the evolved political landscape in the country.
He delivered these remarks at the public talk ‘Ceramah Umum’ held at Pentas Rompin. “This symbolizes the nascent mature politics in our nation because, without mutual unity among races and parties, our country’s security is threatened. The primary point is never to bargain on principles, nor allow elected representatives to exploit their wealth,” he said.
Anwar’s heartfelt prayers go to Mohd Zaidy and his assistant Muhammad Khairul Ahnaf Baharom, who recently fell victim to a road accident.

Anwar’s address also highlighted the pivotal role of the Indian community in the impending state elections. “My duty and responsibility drive me to extend my help to all who need it, irrespective of their racial backgrounds—Chinese, Malays, or Indians. I urge the Indian community not to squander their votes. We can resolve any disagreements,” he stressed.
Anticipating a meeting with the MIC President Tan Sri SA Vigneswaran and other nationwide party leaders, Anwar seeks to eliminate any misunderstanding and foster team spirit.
