With an extensive background in the sports and entertainment industries, Harmon brings over 25 years of expertise, most recently serving as Chief Executive at Sky Stadium in Wellington.
Strategic Leadership and Industry Acumen
Harmon will operate from TEG’s Melbourne office, reporting directly to TEG Group CEO, Geoff Jones. He is set to oversee the strategic direction and development of TEG’s Experiences division, focusing on expanding and elevating the portfolio of live events. Recent TEG events like Brickman’s Jurassic World, Paw Patrol Live!, and the Friends Experience in Sydney exemplify the company’s ambition to deliver world-class experiences to audiences.

Harmon takes over the reins from Rachael Carroll, who will continue within the TEG organization as Managing Director of TEG Sport, with a specific focus on driving the growth of TEG’s global sports content.

A Proven Track Record in the Industry
Harmon’s career is marked by senior roles in Australia and New Zealand’s sports and entertainment sectors. At Sky Stadium, he successfully hosted iconic events like Eminem’s concerts, Te Matatini, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. Under his leadership, Sky Stadium earned the prestigious Venue of the Year Award in 2019 and 2024. Harmon’s contribution also extends to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and various high-profile concerts and sporting events, showcasing his ability to deliver memorable live experiences.
Additionally, he has served in governance roles, including as Director of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2023 and as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Netball New Zealand. In 2023, Harmon was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award by the New Zealand Events Association.
