The shiny and expressionless statue represents a general human figure. Nobody knows the gender, race or age of Satoshi Nakamoto. It is said that Satoshi Nakamoto could be more than one person.
The statue is constructed of bronze and features a hoodie-clad figure. The face features a special bronze-aluminium composite so every visitor can see their own reflection when looking at the statue. This represents the concept of ‘We are all Satoshi’.
The art was the work of two Hungarian sculptors, Gergely Reka and Tamas Gilly., who decided to make the reflective face to represent a concept of “We are all Satoshi.”
Bitcoin is much more than just a cryptocurrency. The underlying technology, which is the blockchain can truly make our lives better. The blockchain is all about decentralisation, transparency and fairness.
