Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) enriches the island’s offerings by launching a new lifestyle and entertainment precinct: The Palawan @ Sentosa by Shangri-La Group and Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club by the Tipsy Collective Group. These new additions strive to deliver quality leisure experiences for island visitors.
Covering an area of 183,000 square feet, The Palawan @ Sentosa presents eight unique experiences that cater to all ages. Among these are HyperDrive, a thrilling three-level immersive electric go-kart circuit, and UltraGolf, an engaging 18-hole mini golf course.

Sentosa’s constant evolution to stay as a premier island destination is mirrored in its CEO Thien Kwee Eng’s words, “To further reinforce Sentosa’s position, we persistently reinvent the experiences and services we offer.” She elaborates that these new introductions, following the recent announcements of KidZania’s return to Sentosa, signify the transformation Sentosa is undergoing to ensure distinctive, world-class experiences for both local and international visitors.
The Palawan @ Sentosa also presents a family-oriented beach club – Splash Tribe, complete with a sandcastle-themed wet-play zone and an infinity pool. A terraced beach club named +Twelve, featuring a swim-up bar, will also be part of the precinct.
Shangri-La Group’s head of resorts for Southeast Asia and Australasia and general manager for The Palawan @ Sentosa, Gavin Weightman, expressed pride in being part of this transformative phase that brings fresh excitement to the island.
On the other hand, the Tipsy Unicorn stands as the only beach club in Sentosa to feature live music. It boasts a 500-seater venue, complete with state-of-the-art staging, lighting, and sound systems that can host a diverse range of events.
Derek Ong, co-founder and CEO of Tipsy Collective Group, stated, “We aim to redefine leisure and entertainment through our impressive designs, cutting-edge technology, and a sustainable approach, intending to provide guests with incredible and unforgettable experiences.”
In a new venture, the hospitality group will collaborate with sports brand PUMA to inaugurate their first shop-in-shop concept in Sentosa, offering a range of sports equipment, apparel, and merchandise.
Last month, SDC selected WE Communications, an integrated communications firm, as its strategic partner to amplify communication strategies, enhance engagement, and forge emotional connections with locals and tourists. This collaboration underscores Sentosa’s brand promise: “Where discovery never ends”, and aims to boost sustainable tourism as part of the Sentosa-Brani Master Plan and the upcoming launch of Sentosa Sensoryscape.
