Samsung Malaysia Electronics has been recently announced as the official smartphone provider for the first made-for-web reality game show in Asia Pacific, Sunway Group’s The Amazing Sunway City Challenge.
The Amazing Sunway City Challenge will see 10 social media superstars from 10 countries, who have collective fanbase of 25 million battle across Sunway City’s key locations to win bragging rights as the champion of The Amazing Sunway City Challenge, RM25,000 worth of Sunway Pals Points and the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
Malaysia’s Jaa Suzuran, the Philippines’ Medyo Maldito, India’s RJ Abhinav, Indonesia’s Michelle Joan, Singapore’s Matthew Stewart, Taiwan’s Ironbull, Thailand’s SorDor Style, China’s Gong Yi, South Korea’s Hong Young Gee and Egypt’s Hadia Ghaleb have been named as participants for the action-packed reality show.
During the production, the influencers will be putting the powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to the test while they brave the daunting missions set for them. Touted as the “best for everything” smartphone, the one terabyte ready Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which has top-tier specs including an all-day battery and a bluetooth-enabled S Pen doubles as a wireless remote for taking long-distance selfies as well as an intelligent camera which will be utilised in the challenge.

The four webisodes will air February 2019. The show will be aired on SAYS.com, the official web broadcaster, IDN Times, ET Today, Line.tv, LUVE, Sunway City and WebTVAsia’s official social media platforms. Coupled with the strong following from the celebrity influencers, this show is anticipated to reach out to more than 54 million viewers around the world.
