A Game-Changing Acquisition for a Holistic Marketing Approach
In a significant move that underscores its ambitions in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market, RCJ Group has acquired Brand Asia, a leading full-service marketing agency. This acquisition is designed to strengthen RCJ Group’s already robust portfolio, which specializes in media strategy, planning and buying, as well as digital and creative services.
The Strategic Sense Behind the Move
Carlos Correa, the CEO of RCJ Group, noted that the acquisition aligns seamlessly with the company’s existing capabilities. “Our acquisition of Brand Asia reflects our ongoing strategy to offer clients a more integrated service offering,” he said.
Expanding on the strategy behind the acquisition, Carlos elaborated, “We already work with partner agencies in the APAC region through ICOM but this move allows us to respond to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse campaigns much more effectively.”
This acquisition synergizes well with RCJ Group’s current membership in ICOM (Independent Marketing Communications Network), which already gives them access to a global clientele in more than 80 markets worldwide.
A Perfect Partnership: Brand Asia and RCJ Group
Sherry Xu, the Managing Partner of Brand Asia, shared her enthusiasm about the acquisition and the enhanced capabilities it brings. “For nearly 60 years, RCJ Group has demonstrated why they are one of the most trusted and results orientated agency groups in Australia,” she stated.
She went on to elaborate on the future of this alliance: “This alliance bolsters our existing expertise in the region and allows us to expand in Australia, connecting local businesses with the Asian market.”

Future Prospects: A Bright Horizon Ahead
The acquisition comes on the heels of RCJ Group’s recent account win with Dilmah Tea, adding yet another feather to its increasingly decorated cap. Brand Asia’s impressive client roster, featuring names like Air China, Westfield, and Zoos Victoria, signals promising growth and diversified opportunities for both entities in the future.
This strategic acquisition paves the way for RCJ Group to amplify its reach across the APAC region, providing an integrated marketing approach that caters to an ever-diverse clientele. With a focus on delivering Culturally and Linguistically Diverse campaigns, the group is setting new benchmarks for excellence in the marketing landscape.
