Malaysian car company PROTON’s subsidiary PRO-NET has chosen The Clan Malaysia to handle its social media. The Clan will create and implement campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Increasing Awareness and Differentiating PRO-NET
The agency’s job is to make more people aware of the brand in a market that is growing and to set the brand apart from its competitors by getting Malaysians excited about a more innovative future. The contract is for a year with the option to expand for another year. The agency will handle only the Malaysian market as part of this agreement for now.’
PRO-NET’s Role in Smart Electric Vehicles
After PRO-NET and Smart Automobile signed a general dealer agreement, PRO-NET will sell and distribute Smart electric vehicles (EVs) and its own EVs in the future. Sales of smart electric vehicles are set to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Customers’ charging needs will be the company’s top priority. Plans call for both a home-based and a public charging network.
The Clan’s Creative Approach
Casey Loh, who is in charge of creative for the Clan, said that the creative team is excited to push the brand’s boundaries in different ways, which will raise the brand’s profile in the growing and competitive EV market. The goal is to solidify the brand’s status as a high-end car brand and build a group of loyal fans. The brand’s philosophy, which is based on design and an all-around brand experience, will come to life.
Excitement Over the Partnership
Syed Nasir, who is in charge of business at The Clan, was happy to be given the chance to help PRO-NET promote a sustainable future and get more people to drive electric cars. Yow Kuan Wai became The Clan’s new executive creative director in January of this year, when the company was in the middle of changing its creative culture and business model.
