Outscal’s Game Academy (academy.outscal.com) has two core products. The first product is for companies or studios that are looking to hire talent. The second core offering is for learners and professionals who are looking to upskill, start or advance their careers in the gaming industry.
So far, we have partnered with 100+ companies which include large, international companies like PTW, GSN Games, and startups like nCore Games, LILA Games, Playshifu, and many more. Our focus is on providing quality talent that matches not only the skill set but also the company culture in order to have a higher chance of a conversion. Typically we expect 20% of our candidates to reach the final stage of the hiring process, numbers that are usually unheard of. Our secret sauce is in the evaluation engine that lets us vet talent at scale.
We also upskill professionals on-demand as per the skill-set requirements of our hiring partners. In the past, we have partnered with studios like Cympl to create custom upskilling modules based on their requirements.

Our flagship “Full-stack Game Development” program, with full job placement assistance, is globally the first virtual program that has helped hundreds of people to break into the gaming industry.
Thousands of game development enthusiasts enroll in the academy every month for free to build game projects across difficulty levels with other community members on discord. Of the thousands of people who join Game Academy every month, only 20 get shortlisted for the Fullstack Game Development program.

Our founder, Mayank comes with a decade-long experience in the gaming industry. He has worked in various studios like Electronic Arts, Kixeye, DeNA, and Junglee Games across USA and India. Our core team comprises ex-founders from upskilling industry, eCommerce, and game developers who have previously worked across the industry in diverse games ranging from Transformers to Temple run.
