Marketing in Asia magazine, a community-driven online marketing magazine based in Kuala Lumpur recently announced the appointment of Jennette Cajucom as its editor for the Philippines.
Jennette, will not only take the lead in producing local marketing-related content for Marketing In Asia but also grow the community of readers and contributors in the country. Being one of the industry veterans, she is passionate about digital marketing and looking forward to strengthening his authority within the content vertical in Asia via the magazine.
Jennette is a digital marketing consultant and a certified project manager with more than 10 years of experience with different digital marketing agencies from the US, UK and Australia. Before working as a consultant, Jennette has had more than 10 years of customer service experience as well with IT companies from the US and Germany. Even prior to this, she was already into marketing and has worked as a marketing officer for a famous retail company in the Philippines, and was also a marketing director for an architectural firm, also based in the Philippines.
Jennette’s combined experiences in all 3 areas – project management, marketing and customer service – have paved the way for her to set up her consultancy startup to help businesses establish their digital footprint and CEOs who want to improve on their branding. She also conducts seminars and workshops for small businesses who have yet to learn about digital marketing. Likewise, Jennette has worked with clients in the hotel and BPO industries. White Rock Beach Hotel + Waterpark and Asia Premiere Outsourcing Services, and Beyond Limits BPO, to name a few.
“In today’s digital age, it is important for CEOs to make sure that they send their message across the board to all their shareholders through their branding. With everything that’s gone digital nowadays, business owners need to stand out by adapting to meaningful and more human centered approaches,” says Jennette. “People nowadays need someone who believes in their values, as well as someone they can trust.
If you are a business owner and you believe in building meaningful relationships over increasing vanity metrics in the online world then you are on the right track. At the end of the day, established relationships equals conversion for the business.”
Jennette started on Marketing in Asia as a contributor. Her passion for topics like personal branding, digital marketing and human centered marketing reflects in her writing. Her approach is more of inspirational, rather than technical, which is no surprise since she is, after all, a believer of human centered marketing, and is influenced by the likes of Tony Zambito and Nela Dunato.
It’s not rocket science. Jennette’s mission is clear and simple: to bring the human connection back into digital marketing.
On a side note, Jennette is also an advocate of LinkedIn. After being uprooted from Manila to Subic two years ago, Jennette has made it her advocacy to educate graduating students from schools as well as business owners in her area, on how they can leverage LinkedIn for their success.
