The Istana Negara Facebook page reported that the Majesties spent a heartfelt hour with Kamala and her relatives, commemorating her milestone. They shared their joy over Kamala’s remarkable centennial birthday, which coincided with His Majesty’s official birthday on June 5.
Moreover, the royal couple extended their generosity by presenting personal donations and gifts to Kamala. Born on June 5, 1923, in Tapah, Perak, Kamala, mother to former sportswriter Datuk George Das, boasts a large family comprising 11 children, 21 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Sadly, Kamala lost her husband GA Das in 1972 when he was just 62.
