Sydney, Australia – In a much-anticipated event, Lord Mayor Clover Moore will officially announce the winner of the esteemed $10,000 Australian Life Photography Competition today at Customs House. This prestigious competition, one of the most popular in Australia over the past two decades, has captivated the nation with its celebration of photographic talent.
From over 2,000 submissions, 28 stunning finalist images were selected and enlarged to bedsheet-size portraits, now on display in an outdoor exhibition at Customs House Square. The event will also celebrate the winner of the Australian Life under-18s category, along with the winner and runner-up of the Little Sydney Lives photography competition. All finalist images from Little Sydney Lives are showcased on level 2 of Customs House at Circular Quay.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore shared her enthusiasm, stating, “This event highlights the incredible talent within our community and the diverse stories that photography can tell.”
Joining the Lord Mayor, Councillor and Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council representative Yvonne Weldon will also be present to honor the finalists and winners. The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of artistic expression and community spirit.
