In line with its Asia Pacific growth strategy, Freeman, the world’s leading brand experience company, has announced the appointment of Debbie Evans as Managing Director, Freeman, Asia Pacific, as part of the company’s ongoing transformation into a growth-oriented and customer-centric brand.
This appointment follows a period of strong growth for the company, having grown the base of new clients over 50%. Freeman has grown its presence and business exponentially across the region, having executed events across 14 different countries.
At Freeman, Evans will be based in Singapore and will report to Adam Charles, Executive Vice President, Corporate Brand Experience. In her new role, Evans will be in charge of providing strategic insights and growth strategy to continue growing the Freeman business in the Asia Pacific region, including encouraging a collaborative culture between offices to create the best experiences for clients. Freeman currently has four offices across Asia Pacific, located in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

With almost 30 years of international experience in the exhibition and events sector, Evans boasts a strong track record of building and leading high performance and diverse teams across the region to drive strategic goals.
Prior to this appointment, Evans served as President of Reed Exhibitions (RX) in South East Asia and Australia, a company she has worked at since 2000. At RX, she worked through the ranks, joining as a Manager of Reed Gift Fairs to become Group Exhibition Director before assuming the responsibility of Managing Director for RX Australia in 2008 and then being promoted to her role of President in 2014. As President, Evans helped the company expand its reach achieving high growth and market leadership status.
