Internationally renowned toy manufacturer, Lego, has joined forces with South Korean pop sensation, BTS, for an innovative pop-up event dubbed the “Dynamite Experience.” This interactive venture is open for exploration along Singapore’s premier shopping destination, Orchard Road.
Drawing inspiration from the LEGO IDEAS BTS Dynamite set, the Dynamite Experience emulates the visual allure and youthful energy of BTS. Strategically located at the heart of Orchard Road, directly before Ngee Ann City, the immersive event offers a myriad of photo opportunities and engaging activities.
This vibrant event is open to the public from July 7 to July 16 and welcomes visitors between 11am and 9pm daily. At the heart of the experience is the LEGO BTS Big Builds Stage, the Disco Retail Zone, and the Record Discovery Zone stretching along a 39-meter stretch on Orchard Road.
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by the LEGO BTS Big Builds Stage. It showcases life-sized LEGO avatars of BTS, each towering at 1.2m and crafted meticulously from over 161,000 LEGO bricks. An open courtyard inspired by the basketball court from a popular BTS music video further accentuates the fan experience.
Next, visitors can explore the Disco Retail Zone, home to the first-ever large-scale LEGO BTS Diorama, replicating scenes from BTS’s Dynamite music video. The 2-meter display, constructed from over 10,000 LEGO bricks, also houses hidden LEGO balloons that offer visitors the chance to win LEGO sets. Photo booths with music-themed graphic stickers allow attendees to personalize their Dynamite Experience memento.
Further enhancing the experience, special promotions of up to 25% off on LEGO sets, including the coveted LEGO IDEAS BTS Dynamite Set, are available. Gift with purchase and bundle deals on selected items add to the enticements.
Lastly, the Record Discovery Zone presents a dance off and “BRICKTIFY Me”, where visitors can create miniature LEGO versions of themselves and participate in a LEGO Donut Build.
