In 2019, China, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan are highest ranked among origin markets for travelers to the vibrant city. With South Korea made up to second place in 2019 from the fifth in 2017.
The United States is the only country outside of Asia that make it to the top 10 list for three consecutive years. This year, the country moved up from ninth place to eighth place.
