In a strategic move, Hepmil Media Group, a leading digital creator agency, has appointed Ferdi Salim as General Manager for Indonesia. Salim will spearhead both the Hepmil Creators’ Network and Bent Pixels Asia, expanding the group’s presence in the Southeast Asian market.
Bent Pixels Asia, Hepmil’s sports and gaming subsidiary, focuses on revenue acceleration on YouTube. The Hepmil Creators’ Network, on the other hand, is a conduit connecting advertisers with prominent social media influencers in Southeast Asia. It comprises subsidiaries including SGAG and SGEEK in Singapore, MGAG in Malaysia, PGAG in the Philippines, and MRCI in Indonesia.

Hepmil’s CEO and co-founder, Karl Mak, voiced his enthusiasm about Salim’s appointment on LinkedIn, citing his impressive track record and profound market understanding as valuable assets to Hepmil’s Indonesia expansion.
Salim, based in Jakarta, boasts a rich experience in influencer marketing. He formerly served as the country manager for Indonesia at Tellscore, an influencer hiring automation platform, from 2022 to 2023. The platform facilitated collaborations between brands, agencies, influencers, and content creators, with clients such as Shopee, Traveloka, and Nestle. Before Tellscore, Salim was the General Manager of Multi-Channel Networks at Famous Allstars Indonesia, another influencer marketing company.
Hepmil Media Indonesia has previously collaborated with cable service provider Link Net to open up collaborative opportunities for entrepreneurs. This partnership aimed to help brands interact more closely with millennial and Gen Z customers in Indonesia, leveraging YouTube Reserved Media, TikTok Branded Content, and First Media’s advertising inventory.
