WE Communications, a leading communications agency, has made two key appointments to its international leadership team. Nitin Mantri has been appointed as the Regional Executive Managing Director for the APAC region, while Ruth Allchurch will assume the same role for the EMEA region.
The appointments come as part of WE Communications’ strategy to bolster their operations in the APAC and EMEA regions, as the company looks to expand its footprint in these markets. Both Nitin Mantri and Ruth Allchurch will report directly to Kass Sells, the President of International and Global Chief Operating Officer of WE Communications.
Expanding Responsibilities for Nitin Mantri
Nitin Mantri, who has been with WE Communications since 2006 and currently serves as the Group CEO of the Indian arm, AvianWE, will continue in this role and expand his leadership over AvianWE, Chase India, and WE’s WATATAWA, in addition to the markets of Singapore and Australia.
According to Kass Sells, Nitin Mantri has demonstrated his ability to develop teams and operations that drive growth, and his appointment will help the company take advantage of India’s rapid growth. Mantri has previously held leadership positions at PR agencies Pleon and Genesis Burson-Marsteller.
Ruth Allchurch to Lead EMEA Region
Ruth Allchurch, who currently leads WE Communications’ UK operations, will assume regional leadership for the EMEA region, which will include Germany and Africa. Kass Sells praised Allchurch for creating a culture that has led to the highest retention rate and employee engagement scores in the company’s history, and said that her leadership will be critical in building teams and centers of excellence in Germany and Africa.
Prior to joining WE Communications, Allchurch held leadership positions at PR agencies Cirkle, Diageo, Cohn & Wolfe, and Weber Shandwick.
Collaboration with Rebecca Wilson
In addition to their partnership with local market managing directors, Nitin Mantri and Ruth Allchurch will work closely with Rebecca Wilson, the Executive Vice President of International at WE Communications. According to Kass Sells, these appointments will enable the company to stay ahead of its business and provide best-in-class solutions to its clients.
