Former Galaxy Entertainment Group executive Jit Ng has been named as the new Chief Marketing Officer of Hoiana, a Vietnam integrated resort. Ng has 25 years of experience working with consumer, luxury, and automotive companies to produce data-driven insights that drive brand growth, digital business solutions, and innovation. From April 2016 to April 2020, he served as Assistant SVP – Resort Marketing Services for Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group, and prior to that, he held prominent positions at advertising firm DDB China Group in Shanghai.
“I believe that a CMO’s duty is to set the brand’s growth trajectory with a clear vision for the future, and then to coach the proper talents to bring that vision to reality. We are the new face in the industry, as a new brand in the market. One of the benefits of being new is that we can listen, collaborate, adapt, and change quickly, which is difficult for many orthodox businesses,” said Ng.
Ng will be responsible for strategic planning, creative creation, and marketing execution throughout the entire development, reporting directly to Hoiana President and CEO Steve Wolstenholme. According to Hoiana, his responsibilities will include leading the company’s expansion into new and existing regions, raising global awareness, and increasing demand among both new and existing clients.
“Ng would offer a fresh approach to luxury marketing and help us achieve our goals. He has arrived at an ideal time, as the country prepares to reopen to international visitors, and we are preparing to welcome them,” mentioned Wolstenholme.
