Google PaLM Algorithm: Path To Next Generation Language Models
Google announced a breakthrough in the effort to create an AI architecture that can handle millions of different tasks, including complex learning and reasoning. The new system is called the Pathways Language Model, referred to as PaLM.

Twitter is testing three new ad formats in the beta phase to give advertisers efficient and innovative ad formats that contain the potential to deliver measurable results.
Creative storytelling, brand expression, a full-funnel approach, immersive ad experiences, and conversational constituents, are a few of the elements Twitter is incorporating in their products being tested in the pilot phase for three new formats. These formats include Interactive Text, Product Explorer, and Collection Ads. The platform would explore the functionalities and experiment with improving the ad formats. Instagram’s Removed In-Stream Video Ad Placements from its Advertising Options
Instagram’s taken another small step towards its next evolution, with ad partners now being informed that in-stream video ad placement is no longer available as an option in the app.

YouTube Updates: Filters, Sorting Options & more
YouTube has announced the launch of filters and sorting options for viewers, along with new experiments and features for creator channels.
To enable viewers to find the content they’re looking for more easily on a channel’s video tab, YouTube has announced the launch of filtering and sorting options within a channel’s tab.
Viewers will be able to filter videos by content types such as Videos, VOD, Shorts, and Live, and also sort them into oldest and newest videos, once the content type has been selected. The sorting type to oldest videos in the channel level is being discarded. Read more
Twitter Confirms It’s Working On An Edit Button
A long-awaited edit button is coming to Twitter, the company confirms, but first it will go through a round of testing with premium users.
Twitter will first test the edit button with its Twitter Blue premium subscribers before rolling it out to everyone.
As a testing ground for new features, Twitter Blue Labs allows the company to experiment while providing additional value to its premium members.
Through testing Twitter can determine how to implement an edit button in a way that minimizes negative impact to the user experience. Read More
Meta to enable users to share third-party app videos to Facebook Reels
Facebook announced Sharing to Reels, an option that will allow users to share videos from third-party apps to Facebook Reels.
Once integrated, third-party apps will have a Reels button so people can share short videos, then customize with Reels editing tools like audio, text, effects, captions, and stickers. Instead of downloading their video content and uploading it later, they can now create and share videos directly.
As part of this launch, Meta has highlighted partners like Smule, Vita, and VivaVideo who have integrated #SharingtoReels on their respective platforms and are finding new ways for Creators to express themselves, and grow their communities and reach new audiences. Read More
