These changes come as the company bids farewell to Avani Bhanchawat, Vice President & Head of Revenue, who has played an instrumental role in shaping the organization over the past seven years.
In response to Bhanchawat’s departure, several talented executives have been promoted to key positions, reporting directly to George Chien, Co-Founder, CEO, and President of KC Global Media.
Key Leadership Promotions
1. Shirlene Wu, Vice President & General Manager, Taiwan & Greater China
Shirlene Wu, based in Taiwan, has been promoted to Vice President & General Manager, Taiwan & Greater China. Wu will oversee KC Global Media’s strategic operations and content development in these regions. Over her eight-year tenure with the company, Wu has successfully collaborated with tourism boards and government agencies and spearheaded the establishment of a dedicated advertising sales team for Taiwan. Her experience and deep understanding of the industry will continue to drive the company’s growth in the Greater China market.
2. Edith Goh, Vice President, Revenue & Head of Media & Sponsorship Sales
Within the Singapore office, Edith Goh has been promoted to Vice President, Revenue & Head of Media & Sponsorship Sales. Goh will lead the development and execution of media and sponsorship initiatives, with a focus on identifying new revenue streams. Goh has been integral in securing high-profile sponsorships with partners like One Championship, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Tourism Malaysia.
3. Bhuvnesh Kanwar, Vice President, Revenue & Head of FAST
Bhuvnesh Kanwar, now Vice President, Revenue & Head of FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television), will drive revenue growth across streaming markets, focusing on monetization strategies in Indonesia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Kanwar’s six-year journey with KC Global Media includes launching branded IPs and building key partnerships with platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Telkomsel.
4. Bonnie Wiryani, Vice President, Revenue & Head of Content Sales
Bonnie Wiryani has been promoted to Vice President, Revenue & Head of Content Sales, where she will focus on expanding content sales in Asia and developing key partnerships in the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. Wiryani has been instrumental in launching KC Global Media’s channels in new markets, including Mongolia and the Maldives, and she will continue to play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint.
