In an exciting development, Watsons Malaysia has announced the promotion of Danny Hoh to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective August 1, 2024. Danny, who has been an instrumental part of the company since joining as a Marketing Controller in 2013, will now report directly to Caryn Loh, Managing Director of Watsons Malaysia and Exclusives Director of Watsons International.
Danny’s impressive career trajectory saw him rise to Head of Marketing in 2015, then to Marketing Director in 2017, and finally to General Manager in 2023. His tenure at Watsons has been marked by significant achievements in driving growth across both Offline and Online (O+O) channels. Under his leadership, the brand’s value proposition has been elevated, and strategic activations have been executed with great success.
In his new role as COO, Danny will continue to oversee the Marketing portfolio, as well as both Trading and Online Business. His seamless integration of O+O strategies is expected to add considerable value to the company, further driving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction, thereby reinforcing Watsons’ market-leading position.
