SINGAPORE / MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – Singapore Airlines’ Kris+ has partnered with global fintech platform Airwallex to redefine lifestyle rewards for its over 1.3 million KrisFlyer members in Australia, marking a significant development in the Australian market.
Kris+, an innovative lifestyle reward app, integrates an array of enticing offers in dining, retail, and entertainment. It empowers its users to accumulate miles from daily expenditures or utilize them for a variety of purchases and experiences. In a significant move to enhance user experience, Kris+ will incorporate Airwallex’s Payment for Platforms, streamlining payment processes for customers and facilitating seamless payouts to partner merchants in Australia.

The timing of this venture coincides with a significant increase in international travel to Australia, with the number of visitors reaching nearly 1.75 million in October 2023, the highest recorded in the year so far. This trend is expected to continue, surpassing pre-pandemic levels by 2025 with an estimated total of 11 million international visitors.
In an exclusive offering, Kris+ users in Australia can now earn up to three miles for every dollar spent at selected partners in Melbourne and Sydney. Additionally, new Kris+ users have the opportunity to earn up to 2,000 bonus miles for payments of at least AU$15 on the app, valid until 31 December 2023. The program will debut with about 100 partner merchants, including popular brands like Benjamin Barker, The Ugg Shop, D1 Store, and 124 Shoes.
