He was in MIGHT for two years after retiring from the government in 2015 and has been a long time public servant serving close to 35 years in several ministries and agencies like EPU, MITI, INTAN and MOSTI. Dr. Ibrahim was on several boards and committees at regional and national level as NAM STI Board of Governors, APEC PPSTI, ASEAN WGs, MASDM to name a few, and he is also a member of the Administrative and Diplomatic Service Alumni Association.
